Smoke ‘Us is a family run business in Dorset. It was founded by Nik Robotham in 2020 who has a passion for cooking delicious, high quality slow smoked meats.

Nik works hard to create glorious food which led to the name Smoke ‘Us; pronounced like the work ‘us in Dickens’ Oliver Twist: think ‘Food, Glorious Food’.

Nik's cooking style is influenced by his travels around the world. Nik is inspired by the care and attention to detail of fine dining rooms in France, the balance of sweet, sour and spicy flavours in Thailand, the simplicity of local produce in Italy and the large meat BBQ portions in the US.

Having spent many years making sourdough pizzas in his own woodfired oven, Nik started to explore the process of home smoking high quality meats for friends and family to enjoy.

This interest developed into a passion for turning out fantastic smoked meats to a wider audience which led to Smoke ‘Us.

2021 saw the launch of the first UK Smoke ‘Us pop up trailer which tours Dorset and the surrounding areas.
